First two days

Elizabeth: Hooray! I'm back! It's so fun to be back here with Lori and show her the things that I love and some of the people I know. We had the dream lunch of two teachers - a long lunch with salad and wine outside on a cafe terrace in the St. Andre des Arts area. The weather could not have been more perfect. We walked around for more than six hours. This means that I will probably need to buy some new shoes! Jean-Claude and Viviane are such gracious hosts, and it is such a treat to be welcomed by locals and treated like family. Tomorrow we have a half day of work (fun work!) at the high school, and then we'll go to take some snapshots from the Trocadero area of a pretty famous monument (very suspenseful...) and then perhaps head to Galeries Lafayette for some important provisions.
